Need a little exercise during the conference? Strap on your running/walking shoes for the 2026 Clean Lakes Classic 5K Run/Walk! The 5K will take place during lunch on Thursday, November 5th. Entry fee is $30 and includes a t-shirt (if registered in advance). Onsite registration is allowed, but we cannot guarantee a run shirt.

The Clean Lakes Classic at the 2026 International Symposium will cover a classic, scenic Kelowna waterfront running and walking route. It covers 5 kilometers out-and-back, showcasing the vibrant downtown lakeshore.

• Starting Point: You will kick off at the iconic Dolphins sculpture, located just north of the Delta Hotels Grand Okanagan Resort.
• The Lagoons & Tugboat Bay: Head immediately across the footbridge over the lagoon to Tugboat Bay beach at Waterfront Park.
• he Boardwalk & City Park: Hang a left onto the paved waterfront boardwalk. Follow this path south past the Kelowna Yacht Club and Stuart Park, continuing directly into City Park.
• The Turnaround Point: Run through City Park until you reach the William R. Bennett Bridge. Follow the pedestrian pathway to head under the bridge tunnel. Once you pass under the Bennett Bridge tunnel, safely turn around and head back the exact way you came. Retracing your steps along the boardwalk back to the Dolphins sculpture brings you right to the ~5km mark.
