Established through the generosity of the Georgia Lakes Society (GLS), NALMS is pleased to offer a limited number of conference scholarships for the 2025 NALMS Symposium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Scholarship funds are limited and may be used to defray the cost of conference registration and/or travel.

 

Eligibility

Applicants must be

  • Students;
  • Non-lake management professionals involved in a lake association; or
  • Non-lake management professionals interested in learning more about lakes.

To be considered, applicants must be from a Southeast Piedmont state, including Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

Note: The application deadline is September 26, 2025. We hope to notify applicants about the award decision by October 3, 2025. Scholarship recipients can have their registration covered by credit card reimbursement or paying upfront. If reimbursement is available, click “pay now” in the registration process. If paying upfront isn’t feasible, select “invoice me.” The invoice will be set to zero dollars if awarded a scholarship.
