It’s a puddle, a pound, a lake – no, it’s Superpond. It takes on all stormwater, provides bounds of recreation, and provides a great backdrop to any picnic. “Pond” – a universal word that is used for a human-made stormwater BMP, a small lake, a natural pool, a backyard water feature, a livestock pound, and even for the Atlantic Ocean, which dates to the 1640s.

The Board of Directors of the North American Lake Management Society (NALMS) seeks letters of interest from individuals wishing to serve as the next Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of the society’s peer-reviewed publication, Lake and Reservoir Management (LRM).

The 2022 election for officers and directors is underway. Voting in the annual election is an important way for NALMS members to provide input in the management of the Society. Our officers and directors are all volunteers who serve without pay.
All members may vote for President-Elect, Treasurer, and At-Large Director.
The President-Elect serves for one year in that position after which they serve as President for one year and Past-President for one year.
The Treasurer serves for three years and may succeed themselves for one additional term.
