NALMS Signs on to Statement Regarding WOTUS Rule

As a member of the Consortium of Aquatic Science Societies (CASS), NALMS, along with eleven fellow aquatic science societies, has added its voice to comments submitted on the proposed rule to revise the definition of Waters of the United States, or WOTUS. The scientific societies, representing more than 200,000 individuals with diverse areas of expertise, “strongly oppose the proposed Rule and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (Agencies) decision to re-write and rescind the science-based definitions contained in the 2015 Clean Water Rule (2015 CWR).”
