Lake Loop is an annual bike, run and paddle challenge highlighting many of the recreational opportunities on and around Lake Hopatcong. Participants enjoy breathtaking views of beautiful Lake Hopatcong while participating in one, two or all three events in support of New Jersey’s largest lake.

Lake Loop 2020 will feature cycling, running, and paddling activities on Sunday, October 11, at scenic Hopatcong State Park, and participants can choose to do any or all three. Cyclists can choose a 20- or 40-mile route on roads around the lake. Runners/walkers can pick a 5k or 1.5-mile path that winds through the park, and paddlers are welcome to complete a 2.5-mile course on beautiful Lake Hopatcong. Kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards can be reserved prior to the event, or participants may bring their own. Afterward, participants will also enjoy a lakeside view, excellent local food, live music, and more.
