NALMS 2019 Call for Special Sessions & Workshops

The 2019 North American Lake Management Society (NALMS) symposium will be held in Burlington, Vermont on November 10-15. This symposium traditionally brings together a wide spectrum of lake researchers, managers and enthusiasts. Presentations cover the range of limnological and watershed topics, addressing science, economics and institutional aspects of lake management. Jody Connor Student Awards – 2018

The poster session at the 2018 Symposium was held on Halloween. Each year NALMS presents student awards to the best student presentation and best student poster at the annual NALMS symposium. The awards are sponsored by SOLitude Lake Management. The NALMS Board renamed the student award as the Jody Connor Student Award in memory of Jody Connor, a long-time friend of NALMS who was active on the Education Committee and participated in the reviews of student presentations and posters. The Board of Directors of the North American Lake Management Society (NALMS) seeks letters of interest from individuals wishing to serve as the next Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of the society’s peer-reviewed publication, Lake and Reservoir Management (LRM).
