Assistant Professor, Freshwater Ecology
This is a 9-month tenure-accruing position that will be 60% teaching (College of Agricultural and Life Sciences) and 40% research (Florida Agricultural Experiment Station), available within the Program in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, School of Forest Resources & Conservation, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, at the University of Florida. This position will be located at the UF-IFAS Millhopper facility (NW Gainesville) with access to extensive laboratory and field facilities. The candidate will teach two courses per year (“Freshwater Ecology – Applied Limnology” and “Water for the Future”), team-teach two courses per year, and develop and teach one graduate course related to their area of expertise. Teaching will be in support of the undergraduate Marine Science major and Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences minor, and the Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences graduate program.
