Individual Membership Categories

Student Membership - This level of membership includes eligibility to vote in NALMS affairs, conference registration and bookstore discounts, four mailed issues of Lake & Reservoir Management and member-only website access including electronic copies of current and back issues of LakeLine Magazine and Lake & Reservoir Management. $35 North American Students Only

Lake Leader - This basic level of membership is geared toward non-professionals and offers eligibility to vote in NALMS affairs, four mailed issues of LakeLine Magazine, conference registration and bookstore discounts, as well as member-only website access including electronic copies of current and back issues of LakeLine Magazine. $55 North American; $70 Non-North American; $40 Electronic Access Only

Professional - This level is geared toward technical professionals, including scientists, lake managers, regulators, and academics. It offers all of the benefits of a "Lake Leader" membership, plus four issues of Lake & Reservoir Management in electronic and hard copy format. $110 North American; $120 Non-North American

Emeritus - For anyone over the age of 60 who has been a member of NALMS at the Lake Leader or Professional membership level for 5 years prior to retirement and has officially retired. You will continue to receive the same benefits you enjoyed in the past at a reduced rate in honor of your service to lake management. $45 LakeLine Only; $100 LakeLine and Lake & Reservoir Management

Organizational Membership Categories

Corporate - Our premium category, membership at this level offers eligibility to vote in NALMS affairs, once a year access to membership lists, conference registration and exhibit space discounts, bookstore discounts, four mailed issues of LakeLine Magazine and Lake & Reservoir Management as well as member-only website access including electronic copies of current and back issues of LakeLine Magazine and Lake & Reservoir Management. In addition, conference registration discounts, bookstore discounts, and member-only website access may be made available to the Corporation's employees. $500

Nonprofit Organizations - This category is offered to nonprofit organizations that feel they cannot participate at the corporate level. Included is eligibility to vote in NALMS affairs, conference registration and exhibit space discounts, bookstore discounts, four mailed issues of LakeLine Magazine and Lake & Reservoir Management as well as member-only website access including electronic copies of current and back issues of LakeLine Magazine and Lake & Reservoir Management. In addition, conference registration discounts, bookstore discounts, and member-only website access may be made available to the Nonprofit's members. $250

Affiliates - This category is offered to organizations with missions similar to that of NALMS who are willing to partner on events and/or projects. Included is eligibility to vote in NALMS affairs, conference registration and exhibit space discounts, bookstore discounts, four mailed issues of LakeLine Magazine and Lake & Reservoir Management as well as member-only website access including electronic copies of current and back issues of LakeLine Magazine and Lake & Reservoir Management. In addition, conference registration discounts, bookstore discounts, and member-only website access may be made available to the Affiliate's members.
