As the only organization in North America dedicated to the protection of lakes, ponds and reservoirs, NALMS attracts a diverse membership of citizens, lake associations, consultants, government officials and educators.
New lake management techniques and innovations occur every year. To be successful, your marketing strategy must also change with the times. NALMS corporate members are kept informed with automatic subscriptions to LakeLine (a quarterly magazine devoted to lake issues) and Lake and Reservoir Management (a quarterly peer-reviewed journal of original studies).
The popular magazine, LakeLine, is published quarterly and mailed to every NALMS member. It strives to present lake management issues in a clear, concise format understandable to the citizen reader. LakeLine advertisements are seen by a knowledgeable readership very much interested in lake management. Single issue as well as specially discounted four issue insertion rates are offered. Special discounts are given to NALMS’ corporate members.
Conducted in late fall, this annual conference brings together over 600 people for four days of scientific and citizen presentations on a variety of lake topics. Exhibitors meet and greet potential customers in a setting focused on lake management. NALMS organizers integrate the exhibit hall into conference activities at every opportunity. Corporate members receive a discount on exhibition space.
NALMS operates with three primary goals in mind: (1) to promote public awareness and educate citizens about what they can do to protect and preserve their lakes, ponds and reservoirs; (2) to encourage public support for national, state/provincial and local programs that promote lake management; and (3) to serve as a forum for the scientific community to exchange information on lake problems and solutions. An informed public will increase sales of your lake management product or service!
