"Volunteers are needed to assist the host committee with various tasks during the symposium including: concurrent session assistants, Clean Lakes Classic Run/ Walk volunteers, and meal checker volunteers. There is one-quarter registration reduction for official symposium dates and four hours minimum worked over the 3-day period is required to qualify. All volunteers must pay the full registration fee and will be rebated once the volunteer coordinator signs off that the attendee has met the requirements. NALMS encourages that, as much as possible, students be assigned as “volunteers”. However, people from lake stewardship groups, other NGO’s, and others requesting assistance are welcome to apply and will be considered if there are any remaining volunteer opportunities."
